02 Why this pair

What matters on the bike.

01

One lens, all light

Dark start, forest, open climb, descent into sun. The lens tracks it instead of you carrying a spare set.

02

Stable in the drops

Wide coverage and a close fit, so the top of the frame stays out of your eyeline when you are low on the bars.

03

Wind off the eyes

A shield that reaches past the cheekbone cuts the airflow that makes eyes water at speed.

UV400 on every lens, blocks over 99.9% of UVA and UVB

Questions,
answered.

They start shifting within seconds of a light change and take a little longer to fully settle. In practice you notice the lens has adapted rather than watching it happen.

Not fully. Most windscreens block the UV that triggers the lens, so it will stay lighter than it would outdoors. This is normal for every photochromic lens, not a defect.

The arms are slim and straight, designed to sit under helmet straps rather than fight them.

Photochromic if your rides pass through changing light. A fixed mirrored tint, like Riku or Akari, if you mostly ride in open sun and want to spend less.
